To Place a Horizontal Pump from Spec

Most of the equipment options are parametric which means that you select the option and define the geometrical features of the equipment before placing it. The Horizontal Pump from Spec option however, displays the Spec Record Selection dialog which contains a list of horizontal pumps that are already defined in the spec. The geometrical properties of these pumps cannot be modified.

Select the Horiz Pump Spec icon from the Pumps gallery. The Spec Record Selection dialog appears:
Select the pump record from the dialog and click OK. The Place Equipmentdialog appears.
In the Associations tab, select the Unit and Service values to associate with the pump if required.
Expand the Properties tab and enter a tag number for the component.
Define the dimensions for the component in the Design Geometry tab. Match the property fields to the corresponding dimensions in the preview image.
Define any additional property values in the corresponding tabs.
Note: The placement dialog remains open throughout the placement process allowing you to modify or add new property values if necessary.
Pick a placement point for the component or enter the coordinates directly into the Accudraw window.
Select the rotation for the component by picking a point in the drawing or entering the value in the AccuDraw window.
Right-click to terminate the command.
